Workplace mental health platform Unmind has received $26 million in growth capital from Trinity Capital, bringing its total raise to more than $100 million.
WHAT IT DOES
Unmind offers mental health assessments for employees to track their mental health over time. Users can access self-guided tools that focus on sleep, reducing stress, nurturing relationships and managing anxiety.
The AI-enabled platform also provides employees with AI-powered mental health training and an employee assistance program to support wellbeing.
The company's mental health agent, Nova, guides individuals to the proper care with clinical oversight.
Unmind will use the funds to scale its operations, further develop Nova and invest in technology.
"In today's world, prioritizing mental health is vital, not just for individuals, but for the way we live and work together," Craig Fox, managing director of tech lending at Trinity Capital, said in a statement.
"Unmind is transforming how people and businesses thrive, and we are proud to partner with a team so deeply committed to bringing wellbeing into the workplace."
MARKET SNAPSHOT
Last month, Unmind announced it received $35 million to scale its reach within the U.S. and to expand access to its offerings globally.
Unmind acquired employee mental healthcare platform Frankie Health in 2023. The company also launched Unmind Talk, an offering based on Frankie Health's global network of mental health providers.
In 2021, Unmind secured $47 million in Series B funding, following its $10 million Series A round closed a year earlier, led by Project A.
The company also partnered with Major League Baseball in 2020 to supplement the organization's mental health resources, which included employee assistance professionals and psychologists that MLB and its clubs already had in place.
In 2019, Unmind garnered $3.94 million (€3.4 million) from private investors.
